I invite you to think through this theme by means of a story from the book of Exodus from the Bible. There in the first chapters we read about baby Moses. Actually, we read about his mother and her response to a world that she certainly could have imagined being better.
Her baby was born within a nation who's leader made a law that all male newborns were to be killed. What was she to do? She tried concealing the child, but realized that that plan could only work for about three months. What next? What was she to do in a hopeless situation?
