Peter was one of the 12 men that spent three years following Jesus everywhere and learning from Him. One important lesson learned is the answer to this question: "Who are you?"
Peter seeks to get all of our attention, with all our
diversity, because he has one message for all of us. He says that we have all been chosen by God to receive the same power-filled gift: The gift of
your identity. The gift of knowing who you are, what you are for, what brings
you true peace, joy, hope, meaning. You have all been chosen by God to know who
you are.
